Found this molt in a frag tank. And I believe I have him in a empty snail shell. I’m assuming he ate the snail. The molt was right next to the shell. I’m amazed that this guy made it in the system. I QT everything including snails 45 days. And previously 77 days. I’m thinking he came in a empty snail shell. I get so many snails at a time I didn’t notice it.

I believe you’re right. I haven’t kept many crabs so just wanting to make sure. I avoid them.
You can always sump it if it is a problem. Or with so many snails and based on how big your tank is you may never see it.
Doesn’t look any bigger than a blue leg, so I can’t imagine it will be a really mean one.

True. I wonder if he’d eat bristle worms? I may have a tank for him..lol. I have a 40 gallon with just shrooms and they are taking over. All are small still.
