This came in on an Indo Monti. There were actually two crabs, the one I noticed was a "classic teddy bear/ gorilla crab" so he's been sumped. Didn't notice this one till couple of days ago and finally managed to catch it. Can't seem to find anything like this on 'net so would be interested if anyone can ID. Body is around 15mm wide, brownish with white/cream markings, claws have a reddish tinge in places.
Thanks
Ken

Not sure on the ID of a gorilla crab. Most likely a stone crab. I'd place it in a sump to be safe.

Thanks for the replies, can’t seem to see any matches against the searches suggested, so erring on the side of caution it’s one for the sump. Hopefully it won’t grow into a monster - although perhaps that’s a good excuse for a bigger tank and sump. :)

Try Cyclodius Obscurus
@Devin6871 - you called it, pretty much an exact match found in :-https://www.crabdatabase.info/en/crabs/brachyura/eubrachyura/heterotremata/xanthoidea/xanthidae/cyclodius/cyclodius-obscurus-2547.
Thanks
