Crab ID please

I found this little hitchhiker munching on an acro. What type of crab is this? Reddish brown color and very small.

Pitho crab maybe or red mithrax?

That's where I found him

put him back... that's his home... he hides there for protection, he wont harm any coral at all.... its like a clown to a nem.. symbiosis ..

In fact, if it is a Trapezia sp. crab, it's actually beneficial to its host coral.

Yep he's back in the tank. Somehow our paths were meant to cross and I can't keep him away from his home.

Guys this is really wierd but ever since I put the little acropora crab back in the tank he comes out to the front glass and stares at me.

He never ever came out before. I didn't even know he was in the tank. I took a coral out to dip it and it was sitting on a towel for a few minutes and he just popped off it walking onto my carpet. So wierd how we now have bonded like this.
