Anyone? Doesn't have black tips. Growing pretty fast I a HOB refugium.

looks like a red mithrax to me... which is to say a red colored emerald crab. https://www.saltwaterfish.com/product-red-mithrax-crab

Though...with crabs best stay in the sump unless your sure.

That sure looks like it. Tempted to put him back in DT. Anyone know a max size they get?

Well I know that emerald crabs only get to like 2 inches so if that's just the red version I wouldn't be worried.

The claws appear to be the wrong shape to be a red mithrax. They appear rather sharper than an algae eater would need.
