Alright so this morning I noticed a crab molt on the base of a torch coral, which was oddly exciting because I had never added one on purpose. Well my lights went out a few hours ago and I noticed a crab in the polyps of my holy grail torch. In a rush worried I may be eat my grail I took tweezers and scared him onto the base, picked him up and took him out of the tank. He's very very small, he almost looks to be a green brown color, or even gray? He's way to samll to have any strips right now. I now have him in a little jar, I stopped in a single True algae Nyos pellet he tried eating it I think? So Is it a good guy?

Hairy legs. Hairy claws. Hairy body. Sharp black claws. Red eyes? Not a.good sign. Lol.
D

So, I (well kids to be exact) picked up 4-5 different species of crabs (ignoring the hermits) the other day down at the bay. I threw in some raw chicken pieces and only one of the crabs and some of the hermits went for the meat.

Two days later, and after a WC since someone forgot to remove the crazy amount of raw chicken.... I went back to the bay and picked up some sea weed and threw it in. Three of the crabs started munching down, so maybe not all a bad sign?

At least until they are famished.
