I think this is what’s been killing my snails?

Yeah looks like a baby gorilla crab or similar. Those claws are definitely not made for algae.

I dunno, it's awfully small. What size are the dead snails? That's just a baby.

Sump it and keep it fed so it doesn't suffer starvation, or see if anyone wants it, it's neat. If you can't find it a home, either crush it instantly or euthanise with clove oil- crustaceans can feel pain and should therefore be killed humanely.

The snails are large astrea and maybe one trochus.
