He came as a freebie with our live rock. He is about the size of a golf ball. Was told it was a Decor. crab. So far, he has bothered anything. So, what do you think it is? Good or Bad--

Looks like a decorator crab? And they are not reef safe from what i rember 50/50 chance i believe

Get a good look at the 2 large claws. If the points have what look like little round disks and are flat, most likely an algae eater and is most likely safe. If the do come to a pointy end, it is a predatory crab and is not safe.

+1 Claws look "pointy" to me. That means not reef safe in my book. Predator and will eat soft coral flesh...
 
Wonder why he's not decorating? I've seen them cut zoas perfectly off a rock and stick it to their shells.
