I have this little hitchhiker crab which I allowed to stay. But I recently added this green leather (is it?). The crab seems to be eating the reef but I’m not sure. Wanting to read up on it before I pluck the guy out.

Thanks so much! I did a quick read and found that clowns will fight it for territory. I don’t have an anemone in the tank and the clowns and crab both made this coral their home. This also explains the shedding of it limb.

They’ll usually sort it out and can sometimes co-exist in a nem/coral

Yeah. They seem fine now. Nature will run its course. But I like seeing symbiotic relationships in action.
