I found this crab in my tank so I put it in my sump but he is trying to go from the skimmer side into where my return pump is and I don't know if it's a good idea to put it in the refugium side with the pods so do you guy's think that he can climb out because it is huge and here's a picture of where he is

Any chsmce you can take him out ajd take a picture under white lights? Impossible to tell what kind from this picture.

Yeah I can but do you think that he can get out of there because I have him in my skimmer section but I don't know if it will eat my pods in the refugium side

Well I just saw someone post what I have and it's a gorilla crab so do you think that it can get out of my sump

He might be able to make his way up your baffles, but he shouldn't be able to climb up your acrylic and get out

He is huge because I kept trying to catch it with a net and couldn't get it because he was fast and then he got under a rock with no corals on them and I just lifted the rock out of the tank with it on the bottom of the rock and got it and now it's in the sump
