Will a sand crab or hermit crabs eat my corals

In my experience hermit crabs will eat stuff on the coral and make them close up a but but never actually eat the coral itself. I would recommend scarlet hermits that's what I use.

Are you talking about creatures you can pick up at the local beach?

Thanks rolo and yeah i found this really nice hermin crab with this jet black shell. And the sand crab i was just curious.
