Hi, i have set up a 70 gallon with dimensions 4x1.5x2 feet a month ago and a chip appeared out of nowhere (pic A) on the left side of bottom pane, so suspecting that the table was uneven i placed the tank on 2 inches of Styrofoam, recently i have noticed another bulls eye shaped crack (pic B) forming on the right side of the front pane of glass. I have not been able to run my heaters for a while due to a power outage. Is this due to uneven heat or the table? And is my aquarium safe? Any suggestions and info is appreciated.

for right now, and asap, Flex tape will actually work for a short while, depending on how soon that crack decides to travel….
You can entertain other opinions, but mine is drain, repair, re-level then refill ….
…edit add… not the optimal solution but microscope slides flatted against a crack with silicone can stop or slow the travel….that’s assuming level without a continual stress

Thanks a lot for the advice, i think I'll take repair route to be extra safe. Is it advisable for me to keep the Styrofoam? Cause I've seen a lot of mixed opinions regarding this.

I use those $5 yoga mats sold in dollar stores, if you need more leveling than that, then cop a new stand….
I don’t envy you …
BTW, not to alarm you but I’ve had tanks just frigging explode from those cracks, … maybe at least put a slice of clear tape over that run

Will work on it and keep you guys updated, thanks again!

I wouldn't use the tank if it were me. Not without a complete tear down and replacement of the glass and silicone.
