Commenced frantic searching.
A very, very slow drip from my Reef Octopus Skimmer. About a drop every second. Well, upon examination, there is a very small crack in the plastic on the motor assembly where it meets the union.
Fortunately, but unfortunately, I can buy an entirely new motor. For $100, and wait 3+ weeks for it to get here. Unfortunately that is 3+ weeks without running a skimmer or constantly dropping water. If I was fish only, not a big deal, but with my bubbletip and nudibranches, not exactly a good combo.
Is there any way I can patch the leak, at least temporarily? I was thinking superglue or something, but I don't know how well that would seal.
