Hello,

I have a crack in my skimmer body about an 1.5 inches long.

Does anyone think the crack could have any affect in skimmer performance?

The crack is not gaping, but still tight.

Thanks

If it's not leaking, it shouldn't affect performance, but keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't start leaking. I don't have any advice on how to fix it, maybe one of the instant glues works on that material, but you would have to take it off line until the glue is fully cured.

What would indicate a leak? it's in the sump... crack is near the bottom of the skimmer in the water... any visual clues I should look for?

Bubbles coming out where they shouldn't?
