I noticed that my NYOS Quantum 120 struggles to start making bubbles when I turn it on. I have to lift it out of water for it to start turning. I took the impeller out to check, and I see this end piece cracked. Is this normal? Can it be replace or covered under warranty?

Emailed NYOS support weeks ago and still haven't gotten a response on this. Any other options? Or do they just have really bad support?

If they have a number you might want to try calling them. Sometimes emails get buried, or sent to a junk filter, so they might not have seen it. I don't know about Nyos specifically, but I know that most impellers are at least covered for a year if they're covered at all.

That orange piece looks like a bearing of some sort, and those tears could eventually cause further damage to that impeller since it's no longer balanced. Unbalanced impellers will eventually break from my experience.

I would try the old way of contacting a company and give them a phone call. Seems to give you a quicker result than waiting for an email response.

I ended up emailing EcoTech, and they took care of me right away. New impeller coming to me next week!

I guess just go straight to EcoTech, at least for U.S. customers.

I have a broken impeller for Nyos Viper 3.0 pump. Where can I get replacement? I cannot start a thread in this forum sorry to add to this thread.
