Cracked Tank - Need Advice

***update***

Hi all,
So everyone feels horrible this has happened, but no one will take responsibility. The glass manufacturer agreed to fix the tank for the cost of the glass, which is only $200. The sad part is my friend is probably getting out of the hobby.... So if you know anyone in the LA area that wants a 90 gallon full setup let me know. All top of the line stuff.

We were able to save all the corals, but we lost all the fish unfortunately.

Wow that really sucks.... Did your friend have a homeowners insurance policy??

surely if they agree to pay for the repair on the tank that would mean they accept responsibility for the fault...therefor should be liable for all costs???
I would make a serious noise about this and keep pushing till they cough up!!!

Sorry to hear that . really disapointing. Hopefully someday he may change his mind.I had a 720 litre tank go boom before with freshwater malawi fish. Lost about 100 fish and had to redo my whole wood floor and it also damaged my good speakers was a devastating day so i know how he feels.
