I'm looking to setup some sponges as an alternative to filter socks, can anyone recommend a large inexpensive sponge to use that I could pickup from a craft store or some other place? I want something that is reusable that I can clean out every couple days to help clarify my water.
The small sponge I have setup in a filter system on my QT tank is working so well to keep water water polished I want to try sponges in the display.
