Ok guys I'm new to the hobby and I traded a guy three 50$ Airsoft guns and an old a5 paintball gun for all this. Like to know how I did.
This was my tank before.

A pair of tomato clowns
A large cleaner shrimp
A bucket of live sand
And also sold a 27lb live rock to my LFS for 50$

That's what I thought it came with the bulbs for it also.

Would anyone be intrested in the sump? It won't work with my tank as I don't have overflows. And it has plenty of filtration anyway.

If I were you I would keep the sump and buy or build a nice overflow box and sell the hob filters. I like the filtration and ease of a sump better than the hob filters, but that is just my opinion. It would also allow you to move the heaters and other misc items out of the display tank.

+1 Keep the sump and purchase a skimmer. It will be way better the the HOB filters.

Like others have said. Ditch the hob and add a Skimmer. Night and day better. As for the original question, as long as both people are happy, it's always a good deal.

Idk it's up and going good the way it is I don't really have the money to buy that extra stuff.

Well save your change, it will help keep you from problems down the road. This hobby is expensive. I'm not rich by any means, so to get the equipment I have I sold off anything I don't need or use. It paid for almost all my equipment. You would be surprised how much money you have tied up in stuff around the house. Lol

I think I'm gonna try to make an overflow box tonight.
