Hello Everyone,

I’m looking for creative ideas on how to fit equipment into my cramped cabinet space. It’s becoming apparent that I went a little big on my sump for my 90 gal so I have been thinking a lot of how to make room for equipment as my tank progresses. I do have plenty of room for anything that goes inside my sump at this point but I’m looking to make sure I have space for my ATO Resevoir and in the future dosing containers and pumps. One idea I have already thought about and even posted about is hiding my ATO reservoir in furniture and I have spent weeks looking for something that my wife will approve of with no luck. I’m back to thinking I may buy a resevoir from Trigger or Bashsea and hoping for another creative solution for dosing containers and pumps. Any help or picks of your set ups are greatly appreciated !

Attached is a rough photo of my work in progress. My tank is pretty new (about two months old) so at this point I just have fish and live rock but I’m looking to try some soft coral in the coming weeks/months.

Many reefers will get a Walmart or ikea cabinet and place next to tank and utilize it as an extension and place a nice piece of coral or something nautical as decoration

Yeah I have been looking for different little storage ottomans and such but haven’t really found one that’s matches well and that my wife would approve of. I also want to find one that can hold more than five gallons because I’m adding 3-5 gallons every 5-7 days or so. Checked out a lot of different websites from wayfair to pottery barn to Amazon just not finding something that fits the Bill. That’s why I’m coming back to maybe going with a standard Reservoir to go next to my sump and looking at a creative way put dosing containers and pumps after somewhere in the cabinet as well.

Custom cabinet or unfinished at Home Depot and you can stain to match

A 5g Trigger Systems ATO container might fit to the right of the sump... what are the measurements there?
Yeah I think there are a couple options that will fit there for sure. The space is about 10.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and more than 24 inches tall. The main thing is most of them will fill that space entirely and then I won’t have any room left for anything else.
