Guys i need your help! A friend of mines tank just crashed two days ago. She was gone for the weekend and most everything was dead. Except for a couple of zoas a damsel and a toadstool . she put them in a rubbermade tote . well the toadstool was moving and opening but has been looking more and more down. What can be done to save it. She gave it to me so im placing in a quarantine tank. Thank you.

Start by putting a small power head and give it some flow and see how it reacts

Most likely a ammonia spike.
Possible the power went off when she was gone for a bit who knows.
Good thing is that you have it in a QT with quality care and parameters.
As of now time will tell, you might want to do a small water change every day just in case, other than that monitor.
Have any pics of these poor animals?

Speaking of ammonia my test kit keeps showing me that I have perfect water I'm unsure of its age how can I tell if it's still working

Will it be ok since its already "depressed" and not opening up if i stress it more with the dip
Can i add the complete trace eith iodine

Pics show stress.
Don't add anything to the water it should recover with time.
Adding all kinds of snake oil to the tank will only make your water dirty.
Let it recover on its own.

Thank you Diesel. I have it in a quarantine with a wavemaker and a heater for now. Hopefully it makes it
