Crazing in Skimmer

Hey guys i was just wondering if crazing in the skimmer body effect the performance of it? I was cleaning the skimmer out and got a bunch of crazing in the body and the cup.

My reef octopus 150 from 9 years ago has this. Nope, doesn't effect anything. Still work just as good as new.
