I have been dosing calcium, alk, and vodka since I started my 70 gallon reef tank 2.5 years ago. Over the past few months my calcium levels have been through the roof despite decreasing the amount of calcium I am dosing. The past 2 weeks I have not been dosing any Calcium at all and my levels have remained stable at 660ppm! My other readings are good: Alkalinity- 9.9bKH, phosphate- 0.04ppm, salinity S.G. 1.024. I double checked my readings at the LFS, they got he same levels. I checked the water that I have been doing water changes with, it is at 340ppm. Plus, I have only been doing water changes every 2 months or so.
Any thoughts out there in reefer land?

Well, it sounds like either you have been overdosing the calcium (how did you determine a dose?) or your test kits are not working well for you.

I'd stop any dosing for now. :)
