Crazy color after near death experience

I accidentally killed about 3/4 of this coral and to my surprise the regrowth is an awesome red color:

It appears the purple side is still growing as well. Hopefully this keeps the 2 colors as I think it looks awesome...

Thanks I really hope it does too. I had another favia that died back some as well but then grew back same color so I really do not know why this one is different color. They usually do really good in my reef as long as I do not do something dumb so I am excited to watch it.
