This guy somehow caught our peppermint shrimp. He found out pretty quick it was too much of a challenge. 3rd pic is just an antenna sticking out of his mouth.

Anybody else have any crazy nems?

My anemone crab was stung to death.
It didnt eat him but it was on the anemone frozen.
I think that is what happened.

I have a harem of ocellaris clowns.
When I first got them, I would spray food into the tank with a syringe, in various areas.
I wanted to see if I could get the clowns interested in my BTAs, LTA, and carpet by putting food close to them. (It worked, by the way.)
However, one time, some food was right near a mini maxi, and a Phantom dove straight for it.
He was instantly engulfed by the nem and pulled down, completed vanished, as I stood there staring slack-jawed.
I immediately reached in, dug into the closed up anemone with my forefinger, and scooped the little guy out.
He had multiple stings and even tentacles stuck to him, and was stunned and wobbly for several hours, but quickly recovered and is now one of the biggest clowns in the tank.
Very close call for him!
I don't feed them that way anymore. :)

That was a close call. We were walking the dogs and came back to it. Pulled the shrimp or with tongs. He was dead and before we bldg get him completely out the fish were feeding off of him.
