Crazy polyp/tentacle extension? ? Or thick slime from being ?

Just bought a few frags , and this guy really seems to be upset or just getting use to the tank ? Or are the tentacles or ? Or is it normal.from handling the frag and gluing him down ?

Whenever I add a piece to a new tank they usually slime up a bit, some more than others, so it should be pretty normal
