I got this nice large urchin last month from Algae Barn. Everything was normal for about two weeks but last week he started decorating with everything in the tank it seems (see picture below). He grabbed my nice harry mushroom coral and is now carrying him around.

I was wondering if I need to get him off and put him back on the bottom. My wife says I need to but I think he might prosper there. I was wondering what you guys think? I don't want to lose my mushroom coral but It is fun to watch him move about.

If it ain’t nailed down, it’ll be going mobile :)

He will find every loose coral you have eventually

If you really care about the shroom, I'd probably remove it. It will be spending time at all sorts of par and in all sorts of flow if it stays on the back of the urchin. It may also fall off or get dropped in some random spot that you cannot see or access easily at some point.
