crazy watermelon chalice growth?

after looking at my watermelon chalice today it appeared to have noticeably grown from just the last 2 days. i wasn't sure if i was seeing what i wanted to see so i got my camera out. 2 days ago i took pictures and updated my build thread so i had a recent picture to make a comparison. just now i took another picture at roughly the same angle. there's clearly noticeable growth in just 2 days, amazing?



here's the pic 2 days ago...look at the chalice from the center to the edge going through those 4 visable eyes.

and here's another picture from today. use the same landmarks and tell me what you think?

the quality of the picture is blurry but equally poor on both days! haha

I don't see how a chalice (or any LPS) can grow that much in two days... I think you are mistaken..

I'm the one mistaken, I thought you were referring to the first picture compared to the others. I see now that you mean the 2nd/3rd picture compared to the growth of the last one. It looks like its puffed up and happy

Anyway if your talking about the 3 pics, yeah there is noticable growth, or the growth edge is just stretching out a bit(puffyness, LOL). I have some chalices that edge growth stretch out(Puff) 1/4" when happy

That is just from it puffing up after it acclimated - thats normal. Nice one btw

no no no the top pic i placed in there after the fact maybe i'll remove it. ok it's removed! that one was after rap so 2008.

i'll remove that 1st pic seems to confuse some ppl

and the growth seen comparing these pictures is within 2 days drr phish......i have no reason to post bad info

Haha, yea I should of read more carefully. It does look more puffed up and extended in the last picture, maybe even a bit of growth. What type of watermelon is it?

thanks lol the "puffiness" looks the same to me. but that's why i posted here. to get some feedback from you reefers. i just notice the growth as it relates to the edge of the disc and it's been growing pretty well.
i'm pretty sure it was vivid's booth at rap. so i suppose vivid's watermelon if there's such a thing?
i'm not real big on lineage like a lot of folks. i just like what i like

yeah that could very well be the case. i just haven't seen it extend to the outer edge.

great peice but i just se a happy coral. they simply do not grow that fast. heck not coral grows that fast.
