I have spent the last 4-6 weeks creating my own rock with a mixture I found on YouTube. Based on the video, I need to cure my rock in fresh water until the pH is back to normal. I have been curing for about 5 weeks and the pH is still very high. My tank is not set up yet so would it be bad for the tank for me to put this rock into the tank? Will the high pH affect any of the equipment at all?
