I’m trying to find a kit to make a mesh lid for my 90 gallon tank, but I want to know if there is one to fit over the center bar? Currently I cannot find any mention of this but I know most of these brackets wouldn’t fit over it to lay flush. Who has found something that worked well?
I would rather not make two separate smaller ones bc then the frame adds to the center bar on both sides, further getting in the way of the new lights coming this week.

The bar really won't get in the way of lights to any significant degree even with the frame for the screen. I think you'll find the advantages of having two small screens for daily tasks (feeding, cleaning, quick access) will outweigh the lighting concerns. One big screen can be a bit of a pain. Especially if you have any height at all to the mounting.

But to answer your question...no. Haven't seen any top that don't take advantage of the bar in the middle. You could customize without would I consider excessive modifications (is there such a thing), not sure I can visualize anything 'clean'.
