So i have had some issues with my first go at a salt water tank, I have some posts about it if you wanna take a loot but anyway. I have a snowflake eel and I plan on getting a dwarf
lion fish. I have a 55 gallon tank any other ideas on what i could add into the tank mind you i understand i can put maybe one or two more. looking for carnivores that will eat krill and silver sides like my eel and wont grow more the 3.5 to 4 inches

(lol)
Get a bigger tank and throw a Clown Trigger in there. :)

Well the lion fish is already not gonna move to much and the eel is always hiding was hoping for a more active pred.

I was thinking of a small porcupine puffer and a Niger trigger I figure it should take a year for them to grow to there full size by then I should have a 130 set up

You could look at some wrasses or there are some pretty cool predatory cardinals even.

Love them porcupine's!!!

Looking to feed them krill and silver sides squid I'm tired of mysis shrimp killing my take chem nutrient levels

Ya really need a bigger tank for predators. At least a 180 or larger

No I don't, im snowflake only needs a 30 gallon take and I'm getting a small dwarf lion. I don't plan on loading the take I only want one or to more fish and like I said its gonna be to grow them out while I invest into a larger 130 tank. I don't want 6 to 7 inch big fish.

They mean to say that in order to appropriately house most aggressive species, a tank 180g+ would be best. With that, you could house multiple species of triggers, puffers, and other carnivorous fish

(And personally, I wouldn't house this bad boy in a 30G)

Yeah I understand that I'm new though and this is an expensive hobby and honestly I've just always wanted a porcupine puffer and a lion fish.
