So long story short, I want to create a lifted structure to put my corals onto (I haven't purchased them yet, will be getting a variety). I have a 125-gallon tank that is being converted from octopus care to corals atm. Obviously metal doesn't work and I'm sure some plastic will leech into the water. Any experience reefers out there have done this or who knows what type to work with?

if you are talking for frags I use plastic egg crate that is zip-tied to small PVC pieces as legs. I also use the egg crate to create pieces that can be secured between rock work to hold frags.
