Anyone know what settings to use to create a wave motion? I've go 2 Nero 3 pumps on the same side and have tried to pulse mode but can't seem to get a gentle rocking back n forth motion? Thanks!!!

I have. I run a euphyllia only tank and have just stuck with random mode but want a total back n forth wave for the tanks entirety. I think it has to with the phasing of the 2 pumps??? I guess what I need it someone's schedule for an lps dominate tank!

I only have one Nero 5 and it does create waves so it very may have to do with the phasing. Didn’t they sync up as parent and child when you set them up

180° is the phase you want if you want one off while one is on, and you might have to adjust the time until you get some "resonance".

Do u still want that phase if they are on the same side or if they are on opposite sides of the tank?

What settings do you use for a wave?

I see the pulse mode, but a second on/second off isn’t creating a wave.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’d get a Tunze wave box but I don’t have sufficient space.

I think you need two in an anti-sync type of mode to get a wave on these. To be candid, I’ve had a couple vortechs (not at the same time) and I’ve never really been able to achieve a wave. The only time I’ve pulled it off is with a Tunze wavebox, which requires some amount of space.

I did anti sync, sync at 90 and every which way possible...like legit spent 4 hours messing with it. Now I just have a total of 5 pumps moving stuff all which ways.
