Hey r2r I was hoping to get youre opinions creating more flow on my 3ft tank

I currently have a 3 ft tank with sump style in rear of tank with return 2 return pumps being mainly used for surface agitation also have a jabeo sw 2 at one end shooting straight across my aqua scape how ever flow at opposite end is low so I've been thinking of the following to options for my tank and want your thoughts on the following

Option 1 get a cross flow wave maker like the cp25 by jabeo I'm not to bothered by cables etc and place my sw 2 somewhere else in tank maybe opposite

Option2 get a second wave maker say sw8 and place either side of aqua scape have a little more option of where to place the wave makers

As ever your input is always greatly received

Ps Sorry about my child like pic I don't have a current pic of the current placemt of wavemaker as at work

It’s always best to have another wave maker on the opposite side IME.

Going through the same thing I have a 30x25x18 55 cube thinking about getting two rw8

yes more powerheads and alternating degrees of flow are best either with a wavemaker on each side or powerheads turning on/off or high low flow

Depends on what you want to achieve. If keeping the tank cleaner is your objective then get another power head opposite the one you have. If you want to keep corals, get another for the other side and maybe 2 for the back. In my 36” tank, I have a MP40 on one side, a MP10 and Tunze Stream on the other, and a gyre in the back. That’s in addition to the return pump. I have the MP10 and Tunze turned up to about 90%, the MP40 at 60%, and gyre at 80%. All of them operate on differing cycles at different times. Can you tell I like lots of flow? ;)

Since I do not see any fish get the flow going. More the merrier. You will only be limited by your sand storm.
Any of your ideas will work. Dont limit yourself to just 1 either
