Creating Polls

I new here and don't want to start off on the track. Was just wondering what the rules/guidelines are for creating polls.

I would like to create several polls to get input on buying habits and also ways to promote the hobby. I don't consider myself commercial yet but working toward that goal.

Would this be frowned upon by the forum owners/moderators?

dude, just put it in the right area and make a poll, if it's against the rules or guidelines it'll be edited, deleted or moved.... This place is like the garden of eden, you say whatever the hell **** you want here.

So I mean if you're pushing your supplies and you're a vendor and not giving money to the board to be a site sponsor...yea one would think that'd be frowned upon..... but if it's a poll.... just use your judgement.
