So I have an 8 gallon aquarium that will be a mangrove/softy tank. It was inspired by pics from Raja Ampat so there are mangroves and rockwork that look like mangrove roots. Any who I want to try to create seasons with the LEDs. I'm unsure where to start to begin to understand the various different wavelengths that occur. As of now I have a simple setup:
2x true violet
Tristar: 27K WW, Cool blue, royal blue
Tristar: 40K dark red, cool blue
Tristar: 50K dark red, cyan turquoise

They are on a 6" heatsink on a non-dimmable driver that is 700mA. I followed a chart that illustrated the relative wave lengths of each "white" light and then decided on the colors based on the chart. So the colors are the low levels nm of each white light. The problem is that since it is constant and even with a dimming system it would still be the same wavelengths. So I was wondering if I could find certain wavelengths that correspond to winter, spring, summer and fall. Anyone have an idea or research paper to look at?
I was also wondering if changing the temperature could help also and how to simulate a cloudy storm...

I believe the apex can adjust your lights to current weather from any place you want. Also can follow lunar cycles with led moon light and lunar module.
You will need dim able drivers to do this.
