Hey all! I just want to tell everyone a bit about these since i had a lot of problems finding info on them when i got mine so for starters as far as personality goes they're just like most other gobies and mine has made a small burrow with about 3 entrances under some live rock that he occasionally defends against one of the mollies in the tank or runs and hides in it when the bicolor blenny gets aggressive. Mine is still pretty small and has a very slight amount of red striping on its side but will change colors pretty quickly depending on its mood, he/she(cant tell yet) eats pretty much anything from frozen to flake to pellets and be careful when feeding corals on the bottom because mine had no qualms about snatching some mysis from my plate coral or candycanes. So far no issues at all with any kind of coral picking or attacking inverts however upon adding it to my tank i noticed my favorite spaghetti worm went missing :( .i cant speak much on housing multiples but i do plan to possibly get another one since my lfs has a smaller one and i can report back my findings later. If anyone is curious about trying one of these but is not sure about it id recommend you give them a try as they act just like watchman gobies which does make me curious will they possibly pair with a shrimp? probably not but you never know. :)

They do not pr with a shrimp.

Yours is male if it is showing the red striping.

Sorry! I didnt get an alert to this comment, i was pretty sure it thqt they dont pair with shrimp but i just wanted a 2nd opinion, also mine is still a ashy grey color with very slight red banding on it.
