Cribinopsis crassa

I would suggest you contact www.ibluewater.com
or there is another one in CA that BRS recommended to me months ago. I forget the name. You could call them and ask. I was asking them about a vendor for pre QT fish.
Both of these can get many exotic things upon request.
Have you purchased from ibluewater? I'm curious to know if their reputation has gotten better.

I'm curious to know why you're interested in one. In my limited research it looks like they could be a cold water species, and they don't have much color. Seems like a BTA would be a better option, and possibly the reason why you're not able to track one down.

I have no clue where you got that. They are available in Europe and actually called mini BTA. Here is a video of one for reference. I have a 32G and want a BTA but would not have the room. This seemed like the next best thing.

Sorry if I sound so skeptical. This comes up every once in a while where people are looking for C. crassa and then go on a wild goose chase looking for them, and then, if they find anything, they end up finding small BTAs.

A true C. crassa is a Mediterranean species, and with low demand, I can see why they're not available in the U.S.

I don't think a 32G is too small for a BTA. Sometimes there are monster BTAs, but many times you'll be able to find a small BTA that stays relatively small if not regularly fed.
