Is it just me, or is the Algae Barn chaeto super crispy? I can break it into bits really easily. My past chaeto has been very soft. This chaeto breaks into hundreds of pieces like a brick of instant ramen.

Sorry for a little hijacking, but what causes the chaeto to do this? I've had this happen to my long thriving chaeto out of the blue to the point i would have to throw out 90% to prevent it from clogging my return pump and getting all over the tank.

Sorry to make it sound like a complaint! It was more an observation than anything. But it would be great to have chaeto that wasn't continuously breaking into a ton of pieces when I touch it. I'll reach out via email.
