Forever, it barely changes in a year. It just completes a few head splits and that’s it  . My four head purple cristata hasn’t grown at all in a year. Literally 0 progress.

Here is my purple cristata (taken on 1/3/2019):

No need for update or progress pics because it looks exactly the same ;Wacky

With all the corals in my mixed reef (mostly LPS and softies with a few SPS and you can see them on my build thread), my alkalinity goes down ~0.3 dKH a day. As for calcium, it is still testing high and hovers around 480 ppm without going down. Not sure if my magnesium is correct (with the RedSea Foundations test kit) as it reads ~1600 ppm and goes up to 1700 ppm after 5g water changes. Doesn't make sense because the ICP test of my bucket of Red Sea Coral Pro salt measures: Alk: 11.7 dKH, Ca: 457, Mg: 1353 ppm. My only explanation is switching from Instant Ocean Sea Salt (it has been 3.5 weeks of 5 gallon WC with the new salt every 3 days).
