Cristata tentacle question

Have had it 18 months. It’s been generally hardy, still seems to be doing well and growing. It’s developed some odd naked patches. At first I thought this was were the mouths were and that it was splitting, but the areas seem to have tentacle nubs in them and are almost like lines of tentacles have been mowed? I don’t see any pests, other lps, torches don’t seem to be exhibiting it, flows soft. IDK, is it splitting, some kind of pathology? Thoughts friends?

p.s.it’s hard to photograph the bald spots due to the angle and glass. It’s a bit more pronounced, larger appearing in life.

I’m not sure, weeks to a few months, I think it’s been progressive. It rarely retracts enough to get a feel for the skeleton tbh.

So, bump and update and lots of pics. Are Cristata not like other euphillia when it comes to their mouths? The suspect area looks like damaged tentacles, but tonight so caught and photographed a bunch of pin prick sized areas “pooping” I think.... Unless it has some kind of sub-surface infestation? Very very odd. I included a bunch of photos and some zoomed out for perspective. Just very odd to me. Thanks.
