Critique/advice with AIO sump design.

So I'm looking to upgrade and get a quote for an AIO peninsula, however before I give in my design for a quote I'd like to get the sump right. Looking at making the tank 125cm long, 65cm wide and 50cm high with the sump section being 15cm deep. When the place I want a quote for reopens I will contact them so I know what width panels they'll use as baffles and the gap etc.. so I can finalise the measurements for all compartments.

With the baffle design will it minimise micro bubbles going back in to the tank?

Anything I should consider/change etc...?

So you think mines too high? What negative affect is your floss shelf having for you?

I would have a larger skimmer section. Also, have you considered heating? These heaters are long and a bother to place adequately. Maybe your "spare" part would fit two heaters? then it does not have to be too large.

Yes, i think you should lower the shelves for your floss. I didn't like how the water level barely covered the floss, the filter floss got dirty from the front back, not all at once. If that makes sense

My current Tunze 9004 will fit nicely and I actually made enough space in case I uprgraded to the larger model. I already have 2 150w heaters I'm using for my current tank so that'll go there nicely.

Will do, so you're saying it's better to have the floss completely submerged, I guess they'll be leas noise that way also.
