I love the overall composition of the subject matters, and the mending of negative space and positive space that truely distinguishes the artists ability to surpass the object into a higher state of being. :lol:

BTW. I know that they can stand to have a bit more DOF, but I am not using a tripod. Therefore, I can't go too crazy with the aperture.

Marvin, whenever I do portraits in the studio or formals at a wedding, I usually shoot them in raw. I never ever shoot the tank in raw. I dunno why, I just never did. Casey told me to shoot in raw, use the lowest iso, and bump up my exposure. It was all very helpful info that i should have thought about before, but i never did. Figured the images looked great. I think they look better now.

Thanks. I would use my tripod, but its not tall enough. The tank is only 14.5" tall, but the stand is high enough to allow viewing without leaning over.

I am using a Nikon D200 w/ 105mm 2.8 macro lens.
