Critter ID help - Chitons?

Hi all. Hoping for assistance in IDing some critters. From looking through posts, I am guessing they are chitons. They come out at night and have a hard shell. All of a sudden their population has blown up. Any thoughts? I appreciate any assistance that can be provided!

I can only make out the stomatella snails.

Looks like stomatella to me also.

Pictures aren't clear enough to see detail, but I'd guess NOT chiton. Chiton have a clear and defined skirt and I'm not seeing that in the blurred pictures. If I were to guess, I'd guess Stomatella snail . They have a small partial shell.
