Critter ID help please, eradicating my GSP

I have several of these snail creatures?... that seem to have appeared from the cocoon-like dwellings. Not sure if the two are directly related, but the timing is right. They appear to have quite the appetite for GSP and are rapidly clearing out all my GSP.

Those look like stomatella snails which don’t eat GSP, you may possibly have a GSP eating nudibranch which I’ve had before.. they only came out at night and kinda look like GSP

Those are just sponges, those kind of stomatellas usually hangout under rocks and in crevices during the day. Also, the gsp photo you posted doesn’t look like it’s being eaten, the edges all look smooth and like they should when it’s growing. The snails likely just bothered the gsp and so it retracted it’s tentacles.

Thanks! This is probably the first time I've had such an explosion of new life in a tank. Prior to this event, the puffers and tangs always ate everything!
