I have been getting these white pod like critters growing the last week and they are multiplying fast. I think they are amphipods of some type but want to make sure. See pics below:

The pineapple sponge is a surprise, but I'm good with that as well as long as it's not invasive. Thank you for the quick response @Tahoe61

Click to expand... From my experience with nerite they come in calcius egg casing (excuse the spelling) I cld and probably am wrong but that's my 2 cents
