Critter ID Please

I saw this purple fuzzy thing appear on my rock work this weekend. It seems to be growing and is well attached to the rock work. I have no idea what it is. Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried moving the photo directly from my iphone. I'm not sure if it helped or not. After work I'll see if I can get a better picture on my DSLR.

Sorry for the delay in posting a better photo. It's been one of those weeks. Oh Oh, I tried uploading my photo from my DSLR and it said to big. What's the size limit?
