Critter ID...Skeleton Shrimp?

Hello,are these skeleton shrimp or some kind of hydroid, pretty sure it's a critter and not algae as them twitch but stay in same place.
I keep finding attached to base of corals, don't see to be harming them yet?
Wish I could get better photo but need a macro lense.

You can remove the coral and pull off the threads with tweezers, but they'll be really hard to see out of the water. Personally I wouldn't do anything unless the numbers climb alarmingly or the things around them showed signs of being irritated. The coral it's encircling appears to be OK.
 
You mess with it too much and you're going to damage the young frogspawn heads you see coming in. Your coral is evidently pleased with the conditions.
 
It does not mind them at all, you are quite right trying to remove them would cause more damage.
