Can anyone identify what this white thing is? It's growing pretty fast.

They are known to irritate corals is what I found out from this group & Google when I had one, got rid of it. the piece of coral it was on actually broke when I remove it, it was that hard. Luckily the were no Zoas on that part.

Thanks everyone, I did some more research and agree that it's a vermatid. I broke it off of the rock it was growing on and it's gone. It was growing toward some gsp and appears to have not been affected. Again... Thanks!
