Can anyone ID this thing? Is it bad or beneficial?

Some Blennies eat them but most effective method is a dab of epoxy or gel super glue over the top of them

These are popping up on my glass. Not seeing them anywhere else right now. But have seen 6 or 7 of them

No need to do anything about them. They'll go away on their own.
