Critter identification help please!

Hello all,
My tank is about 6mo old and is only fish with rock/sand. I saw this little guy today and was wondering if you could help me figure out what this is.

Likely aptasia, a pest anemone

Can these come in on hermit crabs or in chaeto? Thought I didn’t have to worry about them until I started corals

Looks like aptasia. We had one. I took some lemon juice, squirted it in its mouth and sucked it up with a turkey baster. Never got another one. Kill this one quick before it has time to reproduce. Then keep watch for anymore. You get them early, you win.
