I have a ton of these guys in the tank. No idea where they came from but they were there early on. They are much larger than the pods description that I read about. They don't seem to bother anything these days although early on I thought they were killing my CUC. Can I get help getting an ID? Took pic next to a plug to get an idea of size. Visually the largest that I've seen is about 1cm.

Mmm they come out at night. I can try to take a pic when I clean my sand this weekend. I always get a ton in my filter sock.

They kind of look like the silver fish.

My guess is that they're amphipods. Some of them are highly carnivorous (one tried to eat my arm...), but most are generalists/omnivores.
